08/19/2022 – SenseCAP M1 OTA Update

August 19 2022 – We released SenseCAP M1 firmware version 2022.08.17.1, which disables peer-to-peer activity and updates the HTTP2 process that the Hotspot uses to communicate to Validators (over GRPC).

Changes:

  • Update helium miner to 2022.08.17.1

Note:

  1. The firmware will automatically update, and the hotspot owner does not need to do anything. Each firmware release will take a few hours to update all SenseCAP on the network, so please wait patiently to get your hotspot updated.
  2. After updating the firmware, it is fine to find Helium Online Status is Offline in the SenseCAP Dashboard or SenseCAP APP, as there is a  random latency before the first query of Helium API. Normally Helium Online Status will be back to Online within 1 hour.
